The design challenge as told by its creators
"In the monumental garden of Villa Garzoni, MGF Paesaggi carried out a refined design exercise focused on the restoration and enhancement of a historic garden.
At the heart of the project lies respect for the original compositional lines, forms, and volumes — interpreted and recover to return identity and coherence to the Baroque layout.
With sensitivity and precision, MGF Paesaggi reconnected the site’s memory to its contemporary vitality: a project that unites historical knowledge, technical expertise, and landscape vision.
Light and water once again take center stage, restoring rhythm and breath to the vegetative scenes, while geometric order and theatrical perspectives are reborn in a continuous dialogue among architecture, nature, and time.
An intervention that restores energy and harmony to one of Tuscany’s most iconic landscape — a symbol of Pistoia’s horticultural tradition and a living testament to a landscape culture that looks to the future through the care of the past."
